Shyam Cholayil

Shyam Cholayil, founder of eLAAS, has 25+ years of experience in C-level and executive positions with world-leading technology corporations, including Microsoft, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems across disciplines that include technology marketing, business strategy, and market development. While at Microsoft, he led business development for two of the tech giant’s most profitable lines: Windows Server and SQL Server.

Shyam is a recognized electronic learning expert and consultant, and has worked with clients including Dell, HP, Oracle Corporation, and Cognizant to execute experiential learning programs. Shyam holds an MBA from the Nanyang Business School in Singapore and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in renewable energy management at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.

Stanley Liao

As a serial entrepreneur, Stanley has 25+ years of expertise in both North America and Asia Pacific, namely senior positions with Hewlett Packard, Platinum, and Quest Software. Within Hewlett Packard, he was successful in securing multiple annual contracts that exceeded $10 million per client. As co-founder and COO of eGlobal Technology Services, Stanley jumpstarted their geographical localization operations in Asia Pacific. In 2004, Stanley built, operated, and transferred the operations of Quest Software in Korea, Greater China, and Southeast Asia, remaining as Managing Director until the company was acquired by Dell EMC in 2011.

Stanley is an active seed fund investor and advisor, helping startups build cross-functional, multicultural teams. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, Canada.

Usha Narayanan

Usha has 30 years of experience working with world leaders including IBM, Unisys, Informix, and HCL Ltd. in various advisory and consulting capacities. With a focus on rising trends, she brings this breadth of experience to the eLearning industry. Usha’s early career started in journalism, working at “The Hindu” as sub-editor, where crafting language was a skill well learned. From honing her credentials over the past three decades, she is now dedicated to instructional design and content creation that forms the foundation of eLAAS’s e-courses.
